How is your faculty affairs office really doing?

Interfolio partnered with Tyton Partners and the Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) to interview faculty affairs professionals from a variety of institutions and conduct the 2024 State of Faculty Affairs Survey. The responses gathered in these efforts highlight essential ingredients for success in today’s higher education landscape.

The findings also showcase the struggles experienced by this indispensable campus office, pinpointing areas where they need additional support. In fact, more than half (58%) of survey respondents say collecting and/or managing faculty data has become more challenging in the last two years. Despite this, 47% are under increased pressure to demonstrate faculty members’ work.
