This November, we’re running a free webinar and Q&A on how the School of Medicine at the University of Colorado-Denver has successfully moved to a single online platform to manage faculty review and promotion cases.
WHEN: Thursday, November 17 / 2:00-3:00 PM EST | Register
We’re pleased to chat with Cheryl Welch, Director of Faculty Affairs, a leader at the School of Medicine who herself advocated for finding a flexible digital tool for faculty reviews. They needed something that could be easily extended throughout all the school’s departments and divisions.
Coming right on the heels of the American Association of Medical Colleges’ 2016 annual meeting, our conversation with Cheryl should give you a glimpse into how a medical school (whose number of departments and faculty sometimes dwarfs that of the university’s other colleges) establishes an efficient, reliable, easily replicated faculty review system online.
In addition, we’ll ask Cheryl to talk about how the School of Medicine has taken advantage of the flexibility of Interfolio’s academic platform. They’ve been able to standardize core requirements and permissions school-wide, and at the same time enabled departments and divisions to modify pathways and language to reflect their local needs.
Also on the call will be David Schenirer, CU’s consultative contact person at Interfolio, who will chime in on questions and will give a short demonstration (under 10 minutes) of Interfolio’s platform itself.
If this sounds interesting to you or someone you know at a medical school, anyone can register here to attend this free webinar!
